I have over 10 years of accounting experience, and I came to DDL & Co. in September of 2019 where I have since become an Account Manager. My specialty at DDL & Co. is not-for-profit assurance engagements.  I have been working on mainly NFP audits for 7 years.

What do you enjoy most about working at DDL & Co. in St. Catharines?

My favorite aspects of the job is the environment. I have great co-workers, there is strong leadership who try to make improvements where possible/necessary, and I have a lot of independence in my job.

Why did you choose an accounting career?

I chose accounting because I’m a good problem solver and I like the team work that comes with audits and it’s a good opportunity to mentor junior staff. I also excelled at it in school because of my math skills, so it was easy to stay motivated.
