What do you like most about working at DDL?

I really enjoy the people and the flexibility. Everyone is super approachable and happy to answer any questions I have about my work, and I have a lot of flexibility in what my day to day work schedule looks like. It makes the work environment comfortable right off the bat, and allowed me to grow very quickly in my first job!

Why did you choose the accounting field?

The most important thing about being an accountant to me, is staying in a learning mindset. Rules and regulations are always changing and you need to be inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions. This enables you to always become a better accountant and be as informed as possible to give your clients the best service you can! I got into accounting to understand what a healthy business looks like internally, in hopes that I can one day venture off on my own and have the financial tools to pave my own path, whatever that may look like!
