What do you enjoy most about working at DDL & Co. in St. Catharines?

What I’ve enjoyed most so far is how kind and welcoming everyone has been. Multiple people have helped me with any questions or issues I’ve had.

Why did you choose an accounting career?

I was always good at math growing up, so in high school, I took a few courses with math components like physics. I ended up doing best in my accounting classes and knew it was the right path for me.

Inspirational quote(s) or idea(s) you live by:

You steer the ship the best way you know. Sometimes it’s smooth. Sometimes you hit the rocks. In the meantime, find pleasures where you can.

Favourite Hobbies:

I enjoy reading (mostly fiction), watching TV and movies, and playing video games. During COVID, I started taking care of all the houseplants and realized I really enjoy it—so I guess houseplants are a hobby too!

Favourite chocolate bar:

I really like Aero. I don’t know why, it’s just the chocolate I’ve always liked since I was a kid. 

Favourite show:

The Sopranos. Best T.V. show ever made, and a lot of other really great T.V. shows would not have been made if the Sopranos never existed.
